Making The Most of Life is a free event organised by Emjay
Projects on behalf of Council on the Ageing Victoria (COTA VIC),
run at the Exhibition Buildings annually during October on the
UN Day for Older Persons. In 2000 the event won the prestigious
Minister's Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Sport and
Recreation Industry 2000 Award for "outstanding contribution
to the industry by an individual, organization or partnership".
MMOL required a site that kept people informed about each year's
event and was also an information base for the over 50's looking
for activities and related events in their area.
Incognita designed a site using the event's colours (blue
and yellow on a white background) that gave a sense of fun, yet
still looked professional with the focus on the information contained
on the site. The site was archived in 2002 when the State Government
decided to withdraw funding for the event, due to budget contraints.
This site is a donated project, with all costs carried by
Incognita Design.
